Chateau Miraval 2013 represents the second wine release from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie since they took over this iconic French estate. 100% organically produced, this blend of old vine Cinsault and Grenache is produced in the saignée method, where grapes are allowed to gently bleed for three hours as opposed to being crushed. Pale pink in appearance, the nose is intense, with delicate notes of raspberry and strawberry, whilst the palate is elegant and beautifully balanced. Immensely versatile with food, this rosé works particularly well with light Mediterranean influenced sauces and dishes such as carpaccio, artichokes, tuna and hams.£3 per 100.00ml
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have released their second wine, a 2013 rose from their Provence estate, Chateau Miraval. In a blind tasting of a flight of Provençal roses at Wine Spectator's New York office, the wine was refined and elegant, with pure flavours of dried red berry and tangerine, and a focused finish with flint and spice notes. This magnum size bottle is perfect for parties and picnics this summer.
