In conjunction with the launch of his three reinterpreted fragrances, Kilian Hennessy, the perfectionist perfumer, and heir to a long line of Cognac makers, releases Spring/Summer 2015, his fourth collection of scented jewellery art.
Utilising a French company, the only one in the world using the micro-encapsulation technique, Kilian has been able to secure and lock in his intoxicating scents into his jewellery. The perfume is fused into micro-capsules which are directly inserted into the heart of the fabric’s fibre. The skin acts as the catalyst, causing friction against the jewellery fabric and breaking open the micro-capsule’s membrane, releasing the sacred scent. Colourful, fun and fresh, these new additions to Kilian's wearable, perfumed jewellery complement each other wonderfully.
Featuring a rhodium plate handcuff motif – a nod to the infinity sign and the infinite link between two people – this Intoxicated piece boasts black coffee laced with green cardamom, in the traditional Turkish style. It can be worn all year round while its unisex characteristics make it perfect to give or get.
