Born in Ireland; raised and educated in South Africa; a one-time Londoner and now based out of Hong Kong, Catherine Deane’s designs are inspired by her nomadic lifestyle and her passion for long forgotten craft techniques. Goddess gowns, leather cut-work, silk and lace identify her collections with Deane employing traditional techniques with a modernist twist of simplicity to create dresses that leave the wearer both looking and feeling truly beautiful.
