Harvey Nichols Confit d'Oie comes from the Landes region in the South West of France. Production comes from a small co-operate of small-sized breeders in a free-range environment. The corn-fed geese are bred according to the Label Rouge’s high quality standard requirements. Their main concern is the welfare of the geese and ducks and the quality of the product. Confit D'Oie is preserved and cooked goose pieces, traditionally cooked and preserved in goose fat and salt and then stored in large jars. Ready to heat through in an oven until piping hot and the skin of the goose has crisped all over. Delicious served with roast potatoes and beans, with a glass of a young, fruity full bodied red wine.
