Produced by the partnership between Domaine Gerard Fiou and Henri Bourgeois, Harvey Nichols Sancerre displays aromas of grapefruit with a hint of smokey minerality, supported by refreshing acidity, leading to a long satisfying finish. Delicious on its own as an aperitif, this wine also works exceptionally well with both fish and chicken dishes, and of course not forgetting the perfect marriage with the local goats cheese. The image of the goat on our front label represents the relationship between the famous Crottin de Chavignol goats cheese and this wine - both produced in the area of the same name. Situated in the flinted hillsides of Saint-Satur, a combination of old vines (some over 60 years old), low yields and six months of lees ageing lends weight and concentration to this wine.
