Jayson Woodbridge is one of California’s most flamboyant and talented wine producers. Having set up his winery in 2000, Woodbridge earned recognition from the very start when his second ever vintage received 93 Parker points – resulting in a five-year waiting list for his Hundred Acre vintages. 100% dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon, Woodbridge makes wines primarily himself with a little bit of help from wine consultant Philippe Melka. The Hundred Acred wines are mainly characterised by incredibly opulent and creamy textures, with extraordinarily sweet and noble tannins.
“The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Fortunate Son, which is defined as selections from the cellar, is a beauty. Woodbridge considers this wine to be a completely separate project. It appears to be virtually all Cabernet Sauvignon in its aromatic and flavour profiles, offering a deep, fullbodied, intense, powerful style with the purity, richness and appeal that his other wines display. Of course, 2010 was a remarkable vintage in Napa, and this wine reflects that.” 94points- Robert Parker.£41.33 per 100.00ml
