Made by the 'Kaetsu Shuzo' brewery in the beautiful Niigata region of Japan, this Fat Samurai Sake holds a high polishing rate of 40% and is made with no added alcohol to cease fermentation, retaining its full-bodied flavours to its yet dry approach. Fantastic at room temperature, Fat Samuri is also a delight when chilled as an aperitif or alternatively makes for a treat when accompanied with seafood. A certain floral nose boasts aromas of candied violets, eucalyptus and juniper berries. Distinguished rounder notes of cashew, almonds and melon fruit address the senses with a lingering dry finish of vegetable chilli and subtle dusty harissa spice. Fat Samurai is a well defined, firm sake with a lingering aftertaste and a superb impact of flavours.
