The Mancino Vermouths are blended with the finest ingredients to make deliciously original recipes; created by world renowned Italian bartender Giancarlo Mancino. The expert spent four years being inspired by his travels to India, Thailand, Vietnam, England and Italy – these locations leading him to discover a selection of forty botanicals. The carefully selected botanicals are ground in a traditional 1930’s mill, before being soaked in 30% ABV sugar beet spirit, and then added to a 12% ABV Trebbiano di Romagna wine base. After a week-long filtration process, the liquid spends six months resting in stainless steel, until the Vermouth is ready for bottling. Mancino Rosso Amaranto Vermouth is made with 38 botanicals and is a dark Imperial red with a glint of caramel. A wonderfully rich flavour boasts notes of vanilla, rhubarb, juniper, toasted wood, myrrh and chiretta, together with Christmas spices such as cloves, cinnamon bark and dried orange. Remarkably well balanced with a bittersweet finish, Mancino Rosso Amaranto Vermouth is perfect to use in a Negroni or sweet Manhattan.
