The Mancino Vermouths are blended with the finest ingredients to make deliciously original recipes; created by world renowned Italian bartender Giancarlo Mancino. The expert spent four years being inspired by his travels to India, Thailand, Vietnam, England and Italy – these locations leading him to discover a selection of forty botanicals. The carefully selected botanicals are ground in a traditional 1930’s mill, before being soaked in 30% ABV sugar beet spirit, and then added to a 12% ABV Trebbiano di Romagna wine base. After a week-long filtration process, the liquid spends six months resting in stainless steel, until the Vermouth is ready for bottling. Mancino Rosso Amaranto Barricato Vecchio Vermouth starts its life as the Mancino Rosso Amaranto. This extraordinary vermouth has been rested in a single Italian oak barrel for one whole year, making it the first barrel aged, sweet vermouth available. It has a developed, richer, nutty and fruitier nose than the unaged version, while keeping essences of old wood, cherry, honey, raisons, dark chocolate and vanilla. Expanding in flavor without losing its original palate, the Mancino Vecchio will deliver a burst of a deeper, bitter sweet, oak aged experience.
