Predominantly a blend of indigenous Spanish white varieties (55% Macabeo, 20% Xarel-lo, 20% Parellada), a 5% addition of the red skinned grape Monastrell gives this wine its pale salmon pink hue. Subtle and pretty on the nose, aromas of red cherry, white blossom, citrus fruit and savoury autolytic notes are all suggested. Elegant, crisp and light on the palate, gentle notes of strawberry, spice, rhubarb and hazelnut come to the fore.
Dating back to 1497, Raventós i Blanc is a historic wine estate which is today regarded as one of the leading producers of premium Cava. Employing methods such as biodynamic viticulture, hand harvesting of grapes and extensive bottle maturation, the quality of the wines produced by Raventos is always exceptional and a flagship for the Cava category. Raventos de Nit Rosado is the producer’s outstanding Rosado release and a wine that would give a lot of more expensive Rosé Champagnes a run for their money.
