Chia is an ancient seed that has more Omega 3 and dietary fibre than any other food from nature. Considered a superfood, it also contains protein and lots of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Nutritionalists recommend around 1 tablespoon a day for adults for maximum benefits. The Chia Co. Chia Oil has a mild and pleasant taste that can be eaten straight from the spoon or added to salads, smoothies or meals. Chia Oil can be used in baking recipes but is not suitable for pan cooking. 10ml a day will provide you with your plant based Omega 3 needs.
