Chateau Miraval is an historic and beautiful estate located in southern France that dates back to Roman origins. Renowned for producing sublime white & rosé wines, viticulture here is 100% organic whilst prices have remained great value in comparison to some other producers in the region. The wine is named fittingly after the band Pink Floyd, who recorded their ground-breaking album ‘The Wall’ in a music studio located on the estate.
Miraval Pink Floyd Rosé is a blend of old vine Cinsault and Grenache that is produced in the saignée method where grapes are allowed to gently bleed for three hours. Pale pink in appearance, the nose is intense, with delicate notes of raspberry, strawberry and mineralality, whilst the palate is elegant and beautifully balanced. Immensely versatile with food, this rosé works particularly well with light Mediterranean influenced sauces and dishes such as carpaccio, artichokes, tuna and hams.
