Jessica Biel, aka Mrs Justin Timberlake, was out supporting her husband in style at the Cannes Film Festival. The drinks were flowing, music playing and cameras flashing as front-row fashionistas enjoyed the visual delights of the best designer womenswear, menswear, accessories and shoes from Stella McCartney, Christopher Kane and Alexander McQueen through to Acne, Sandro and Preen.

Last night, guests and members of the press enjoyed an exclusive preview of the bespoke cocktail menu and three food pairing packages that have been specifically designed to highlight Courvoisier’s refined and exceptionally versatile character.

Stepping onto the terrace, guests are transported to the vineyards of the southern Charente region, with its evocative vistas and aromas. Heavily inspired by Jarnac in south-west France, where Courvoisier is produced, the terrace’s design incorporates the beauty of the surrounding countryside with the vibrancy of the town and for a more private and decadent experience, guests can also book the Le Château de Courvoisier booth.

For the launch guests enjoyed ossau d’iraty cheese with black cherry jam, spring lamb with tomato and haricot beans, scallop brochette with Bayonne ham, prune and cognac ice cream mini cones and plum tarte tatin canapés and sipped on a variety of delicious Courvoisier cocktails.

The Courvoisier Terrace is now open at Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor, Knightsbridge until Sunday 18 August 2013.
