It was way back in 1860 that William Henry Penhaligon left Penzance for London with an idea in his head - to become the barber to the city's elite. Within 10 years his success had spread to the creation of perfumes and other Victorian beauty and grooming essentials.

These were such a hit that by the turn of the century, Penhaligon's had received its first Royal warrant (three more were to follow). Today Penhaligon's is a modern international retailer with a well-loved collection of gifts in leather and silver, sold alongside the enormous collection of now classic scents.
