Michelin starred Sharrow Bay Chefs at the Fifth Floor

This September, experience the charm and cuisine of Michelin-starred Sharrow Bay hotel, in the heart of Knightsbridge. For one week only you can forgo the green wellies and Barbour jackets and enjoy Sharrow Bay's acclaimed menus in the Fifth Floor Restaurant, as their chefs move into the Harvey Nichols kitchens. This collaboration coincides with the Fifth Floor Restaurant celebrating sixteen years as one of London's leading destination restaurants and Sharrow Bay celebrating its 60th anniversary as the founding British member of Relais & Châteaux and a leading country house hotel.

Starting on Thursday 25 September and running until Thursday 2 October (inclusive), Head Chefs Colin Akrigg and Mark Teasdale will be joining Fifth Floor Executive Chef Jonas Karlsson in the Harvey Nichols kitchens.  Using the best of Cumbrian produce they will display their own distinctive style of cooking through a range of menus especially created for the occasion. 

A special six-course tasting dinner menu will be available (priced at £55 per head), featuring a selection of their signature dishes, including their world famous sticky toffee pudding.  A vegetarian tasting menu will also be available.

Available until the end of July, Jonas has devised this seasonal menu to reflect his Swedish heritage and to include some of his favourite ingredients handpicked from the Harvey Nichols Foodmarket.

Fifth Floor Bar Cocktail Master Classes

Dates now available for Winter 2008

The Fifth Floor Bar offers you the exclusive opportunity to learn how to mix and shake classic cocktails like a true professional. From just £55 per person, attendees will be tutored through a 1½ hour class by the Fifth Floor Bar team who will lead guests through the creation and appreciation of the ultimate cocktails, before enjoying a lunch in the Fifth Floor Restaurant.

At each class a maximum of 13 people will be guided through the cocktail bar alchemy, classic cocktail combinations and bartender's top tips, before being let loose behind the bar to practice and perfect those useful tricks of the trade. Following the class, each member will receive a Harvey Nichols Cocktail Master Class Certificate and be invited to enjoy lunch in the adjoining Fifth Floor Restaurant.

Prices are starting from £55 per person.
