Following the departure of Creative Director Tom Ford last season, this was Stefano Pilati's first collection for Yves Saint Laurent after four years as assistant designer.

Pilati referenced the 50s and the 80s with a collection that included polka dot peplum jackets, bustle skirts and a cinch waist raincoat. Steeped in old-school elegance, the canary yellow and deep violet organza cocktail dresses embodied the sexy but sophisticated spirit of the YSL woman.
