Valentine's Weekend Performances

Joins us over Valentines weekend for some fantastic music from some of the very best up and coming local artists

Friday 12 February - Will Talbot:
From a very young age Will's musical talent became apparent. He began his musical journey studying classical piano with Geoffry Mann. In his late teens he discovered a whole new world; Jazz. After hearing the sounds of Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans he immediately knew that jazz was the route he wished to persue.
Will is now studying at the prestigious Music Conservatoire; Leeds College of Music, on the Ba (Hons) Jazz Performance degree course.

Saturday 13 February - Paola Bottomley:
A wonderfully elegant performer, she can perform great jazz hits and play beautiful classical piano. Having previously won the Yamaha scholarship for outstanding young jazz musicians, Paola now performs regularly with a number of bands and duos. On the 13th February she will perform as a solo artist. Paola will be performing from 7pm.

Sunday 14 February - Oliver J Brooke:
Oliver is a fabulous young singer songwriter.  He says he does not have any direct influences however he is influenced in different ways by performers and singer/songwriters. If he had to put names to them he would say, Sammy Davis Junior, Freddie mercury and Stevie Wonder as performers for many different reasons and for songwriters, The Stone Roses and John Lennon inspire him. Come along on Sunday 14th Feb from 12 noon to hear his performance

Streetsmart Charity

A massive thank you to all our customers who contributed to our chosen charity Streetsmart this Christmas. Over November and December last year we were able to raise over £11,000 thanks to the generosity of our customers.

Every penny of this is split between four charities in Leeds on projects helping the homeless and displaced

Wine Masterclass - Spain

This month see the second in our series of wine Master classes, once again Karen Hardwick of the Wine Academy will be your guide as we taste wines from Spain. From rich Rioja to fashionable and elegant Albarino Spain has something to suit every taste. Join us on a virtual tour of some traditional favourite areas plus some lesser known areas of Spain such as Rias Baixas and Ribero de Duero tasting as we go.

You are also welcome to have dinner in the Restaurant with the choices of A la Carte or set menu.

Where For Art Thou Romeo

There's no need to bury your head beneath a pillow this Valentine's Day, as Harvey Nichols Leeds have teamed up with  Northern Ballet Theatre for a very special speed dating event. This one-off evening of true romance will be held in Harvey Nichols' Fourth Floor Café and Bar on Monday 15 February at 7pm.

For all those dreading Valentine's Day, this unique speed dating event will give single men and women in Leeds, between 28 and 48, a fun chance to forge new connections, and the chance to win tickets to Northern Ballet Theatre's production of Romeo & Juliet at Leeds Grand Theatre.

Champagne and canapés on arrival, live music from members of the Northern Ballet Theatre Orchestra and an open bar at the end of the evening will lend a relaxed and elegant atmosphere.
