Michael Kors, the archetypal American designer established his label in 1981. Balancing the simple and the luxurious is Kors' driving principle. His designs reflect luxury and indulgence from a quintessentially American point of view with a strong European edge.

For Spring, Kors took inspiration from the Aegean, from simple shift dresses to sexed-up swimwear.  Animal prints were also a strong feature, as were his white trousers paired with billowy shirts or structured jackets.
