January 2003 saw Harvey Nichols return to private ownership and de-listed from the London Stock Exchange. August 2003 saw the opening of its fifth UK store in Manchester. |

September 2005 was a busy month for Harvey Nichols, with the opening of two new stores, both outside of the UK. The Hong Kong store opened at the beginning of the month at the Landmark centre in the city, followed by the opening of the first Irish Harvey Nichols at the Dundrum retail centre, a few miles South of Dublin city centre. |

At the end of February 2006, the magnificent Dubai store opened to the public and became an instant luxury landmark in the city. In October 2006, Harvey Nichols opened its first Turkish store in the historic city of Istanbul. |
