Dynasty Glamour
The 80s revival is still going strong and this season sees the full on flamboyance of Dynasty return. Inspired by the likes of Joan Collins aka Alexis Colby in the long-running soap and beloved by the likes of stars of today, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, this is one show-stopping trend that will add real glamour to your wardrobe. This is predominantly a dress and jacket trend but you can also work the look with high-waisted pencil skirts and wide leg trousers worn with a high-neck blouse or shoulder padded jacket (just check out those old Dynasty re-runs for references). Look out for oversized, raglan and drop shoulders and fabrics that are pure 80s excess - lamé, sequins, taffeta and Duchesse satin and the more draped, ruched and glitzy the better!
