White Out
Crisp, clean and it goes with everything - what more could you want from a trend? There was certainly a new freshness to the whites on offer for Spring/Summer 2009 and the direction was definitely fashion forward rather than retro.
Bottega Veneta's double-lapelled jacket was very 21st Century and whilst the voluminous white pants may not be to everyone's taste (or body shape!) this look would work perfectly with some slouchy jeans and Converse. As we've come to expect from Christopher Bailey, the focus is in the detail and his beautifully embroiderd shirt for Burberry Prorsum was a winner. And come evening, who could say no to a guy in D&G's cooly elegant tux?
