May 2006 - Colour
The last SS06 window scheme for Knightsbridge was very colourful and playful. The back wall of each window was painted in a different colour with a contrasting colour PVC flooring. Another colour is introduced with paint drips that appear to drip down the walls within the windows.
Colourful every day objects were re-created massively oversized to tower over Female & Male mannequins dressed in Summer 06 fashion.
Smaller objects that tied into the large props were scattered across the floor of each window. For example small plastic cows below a giant milk carton adding to the slightly surreal window scheme.
January 2006 - Faded White
Within each window a piece of interesting architecture or old furniture is positioned amongst broken plaster walls and flooring sections across the windows. Soft lace panels are hung and the lace pattern is continued onto the glass of all of the windows.
The scheme creates a beautiful soft, historical look, like a grand old house but with an interesting twist. Female and Male mannequins dressed in SS06 fashions stand amongst or recline on the objects in each window.
