Harvey Nichols has revamped the wardrobe of Britain's favourite inventor and sidekick. The transformation is spectacular, so much so that Harvey Nichols will adopt Wallace, Gromit and Lady Tottington to spearhead their prestigious campaign for the opening of the new Bristol store.
To prepare for the campaign, Wallace and Gromit visited Harvey Nichols Personal Shopping department where stylists had no trouble in finding the 'right trousers' for Wallace, whilst Gromit looked on in bewilderment at the transformation of his owner from the tank top wearing inventor to the new fashion icon.
Julia Bowe, Marketing Director, Harvey Nichols, says "We were delighted that these two characters so close to the heart of Bristol agreed to appear in our ad campaign for the launch of our sixth store in the UK, and our flagship store in the South West. I hope that now they have started they will continue to shop with us".
For the photo shoot, Wallace wears a navy cashmere jacket and silk tapered trousers by AlexanderMcQueen, Dolce & Gabbana fitted white shirt and Giorgio Armani tie. Gromit wears navy silk Paul Smith scarf. The second outfit for Wallace is a woollen Prince of Wales check grey two-piece suit by Paul Smith, whilst Gromit wears a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses and purple stripe silk scarf by Duchamp. Lady Tottington is wearing a black draped jersey 'Acorn' dress by Alexander McQueen, red patent 'Triclo' shoes by Christian Louboutin and metallic bronze 'Puffy' bag by Zagliani. Hat, models own.
