Dionne Bromfield takes centre stage

Harvey Nichols Fashion Party - March 17

Exciting new soul singer Dionne Bromfield takes centre stage at a Fashion Party staged by Harvey Nichols Bristol next month. To celebrate the arrival of the new season designer labels, the luxury department store will host the style extravaganza on Wednesday March 17, from 6.30pm.

Throughout the evening, models will be showcasing the latest SS10 ranges while Dionne, whose godmother is Grammy-winner Amy Winehouse, will perform a live set.

Aged just 14, Dionne has already released her first album - Introducing Dionne Bromfield - which features covers of 12 R&B classics and she has also performed live on Strictly Come Dancing with none other than Winehouse as a backing singer.

Described by godmother as "really special, she's better than I was at her age," Dionne shot to fame when a four-minute clip of her performing in Pete Doherty's home aged just 12 appeared on You Tube. It has since been viewed more than 120,000.

Sue Stones, general manager of Harvey Nichols Bristol, said she is delighted to bring the rising young star to the city. "Our in-store events are a great way for Bristol's stylistas to indulge their passion for the very best designer collections.

"Our Fashion Party next month is expected to be a fantastic evening and we are very excited about Dionne Bromfield performing a live set for us. What could be better than great music and great shopping?"

Tickets for the in-store event cost £20, with a £10 donation going to the Prince's Trust charity. Complimentary drinks will be served. Places are limited so early booking is advisable - contact 0117 916 8888 for information and to book your place.
