With stylish surroundings and expansive views out over Manchester, the award-winning Second Floor provides a contemporary and comfortable event venue, offering fine food and wine within a unique fashion retail context.

With any event at Harvey Nichols we plan with the same sense of style, creativity and flair for which we are famous. Within the Second Floor there are three main areas that can be utilised, the Restaurant, the Cocktail Bar and the Brasserie, all of which are open long after the shopping floors close. These areas can be used individually for an intimate meal or combined to create a diverse function space for entertaining clients with a glamorous champagne and canapé evening. We are on hand to help you select the right wines, create a theme and atmosphere, and we can even design a bespoke cocktail especially for your event!

Getting married in the city?

After your special service in or around Manchester, create your own reception to remember at the Second Floor Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie.

Closed to the general public, the Second Floor Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie can cater for up to 150 guests and with expansive views over Manchester, it's the perfect way to end your perfect day. We offer a personal wedding planner that can cater for your every requirement, and if you need to relax before the church ceremony we can offer fabulous beauty treatments, hair stylists and make up experts that will make you look wonderful for your wedding.

Afternoon Tea

Why not relax, overlooking views of Manchester with a luxurious afternoon tea, served in the Second Floor Restaurant?

A selection of cakes, scones and sandwiches are served to your table on elegant silver stands with a selection of speciality tea and coffee for you to enjoy. You may want to treat yourself further with a Champagne Afternoon Tea for a truly relaxing experience.

Afternoon Tea is served daily from 3pm - 5pm. Afternoon Tea is £12.50 per person, Champagne Afternoon Tea is £20 per person.

Bespoke Wine Events

The Wine Shop at Harvey Nichols Manchester carries a wide range of quality wines from across the world, with examples to suit every palate and occasion, and a dedicated specialist on hand to help find the right bottle for you.

In response to popular demand we have created an 'Introduction to Wine' taster session which would make the perfect setting for corporate events or special social occasions (min 6 people). During the session, you will taste six wines from across the wine-making world, covering the most well-known grape varieties, and will learn how to taste effectively.

The course also includes a complimentary tasting glass so that you can continue your wine exploration at home, and tasters from the deli counter to demonstrate effective food matching.

Places for the taster session are priced at £25 per person, or £40 per person which includes a two course lunch in the Brasserie.

Christmas at the Second Floor

We are now starting to take bookings for Christmas. Make sure that your office party or family festivities are the most stylish and memorable by booking your event at the Second Floor.

Christmas party dining packages start from £25 per head for three courses or £30, including half a bottle of Harvey Nichols Blanc or Rouge.
