Our website has a number of features intended to help make your shopping experience a straightforward one:
- Shopping Home Page Link: You can get back to our shopping home page by clicking on the HAMPERS link on the left of the screen underneath FOODMARKET.
- Shopping Navigation Bar: The words on the left hand side navigation bar are the names of different areas of the shopping pages. Clicking on one of these names will take you to a new page that contains all products, services or help included in that area.
- Your Basket: Your shopping bag will appear on the right hand side of the screen under the search box once you have added a product to it. It shows you the quantity, product name, and subtotal of any product(s) you have placed in your shopping bag. You can increase the quantity of any items by typing the number of items you want into the box provided and pressing the UPDATE QUANTITY button. You can remove the item from your shopping bag by clicking on the REMOVE THIS ITEM button.
- Shopping Helpline: We know how important it is to be able to speak to someone if you have a query so we have provided you with our phone number. This can be found in a box on the left hand side of the screen. Our Helpline is manned from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and an answering machine will take your calls outside these hours so that someone can phone you back the next working day.
Payment options
We offer various ways for you to pay for your order, including: Harvey Nichols Account Card; Visa; MasterCard; Switch; Solo; and American Express. We regret that we are unable to accept Harvey Nichols Gift Vouchers for payment on-line at this time.

Placing your order
Once you have found the items you wish to buy and have added them to your shopping bag, you can begin the checkout process by clicking on the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button at the top right of your screen.
If this is the first time you have ordered online from Harvey Nichols, you will be asked to enter the following information before you can complete the checkout process: your name, contact phone number, email address, a password and your payment card address. To help you enter your address we have provided a Find Address facility. Just enter the house number and postcode (or just the postcode) and click on the FIND ADDRESS button. If we can identify you uniquely your address will be populated for you. If not, you can select your address from the list provided just by clicking on it.
If you already have an online account with Harvey Nichols, simply click on the "Returning visitor? Please login here" link at the top of the page and type in your email address and password.
Once you have typed in this information you will be taken to the Recipient Information page. At this point you can tell us who you would like to send your gifts to, fill in a gift message (which we will enclose on a gift card with your delivery) and, most importantly, tell us when you would like the delivery to be made. It is at this point that you can tick a box to take morning delivery or choose a Saturday delivery. Both of these options attract an additional delivery charge.
When you are ready to complete your order, click the CONFIRM YOUR ORDER button and you will be taken to an Order Confirmation page where you can review and, if necessary, change your order details. If You are happy that everything is correct you can press the MAKE PAYMENT button.
You will then be taken to the Payment page where we will ask you to provide us with your Credit Card information and complete your order by pressing the CONFIRM button.
Please note that we only store part of your credit card number on our site as a reference and that the site is protected by Thawte Secure Socket layers. Please see our Security information for more details.
When your payment has been successfully validated a Thank You page will be displayed and you will be sent a confirmation email shortly after placing your order. Your Order number will be displayed at this point. You should keep a note of this in case you need to contact us regarding your order in the future.
