What is the latest date I can order a Christmas Hamper in time for Christmas?

United Kingdom & Ireland Delivery

If we receive your order by 12 noon on Tuesday 18th December 2007, we guarantee your order will be delivered prior to Christmas.

The last online orders for Christmas Hampers 2007 will be taken on Tuesday 18th December 2007 before 12 noon.

Christmas Hampers will be despatched from Thursday 4th October 2007, unless otherwise instructed.

FINAL DELIVERIES WILL BE MADE ON THURSDAY 20th DECEMBER 2007.

Delivery is made on a named day basis. The last named day that can be chosen for Christmas delivery in 2007 is 20th December. The last named Saturday delivery date is 15th December 2007.

European Union Delivery

If we receive your order by close of business on Monday 10th December 2007, we guarantee your order will be delivered prior to Christmas.

The last online orders for Christmas Hampers 2007 for overseas delivery will be taken on Monday 10th December 2007.

Can I reserve something and pay for it later?

Products purchased on-line cannot be reserved without full payment. An email acknowledgement will be sent out to you after completing the online checkout process and payment has been processed. Each order will generate a unique order number that you can refer to if there are any queries with your order.

Can I collect my purchase from my local store?


Unfortunately products ordered online cannot be collected from stores directly.

Most products sold on-line are available for direct purchase and collection from our Knightsbridge, Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds, Birmingham and Dublin stores. For collection of multiple items, seven days notice will be required. All collections will be from a specified address. Can I cancel or amend my order prior to despatch?


Customers wishing to cancel or alter their orders must contact us within 72 hours of the order being placed, despite the reality that no contract has been entered into until products are despatched. Harvey Nichols cannot accept cancellations or amendments after this period. After the initial 72 hour period we will try our best to amend your order in accordance with your instructions but you may need to return the products yourself, after their receipt, within the 7 day cancellation period.

How do I change or cancel an order?


If you wish to change or cancel an order please contact our Harvey Nichols Web Customer Services Team on +44 8957 5030 any time between 9.00am and 5pm, Monday to Friday or email them at christmas.hampers@harveynichols.com.

It would be helpful if you could have the following details to hand:

  • Customer name
  • Order number
  • Date of the order
  • Value of order
  • Payment method

Orders are normally processed immediately so we may have already packaged your order and made arrangements for it to be sent to you. If this is the case then we cannot always stop the order from being sent. If the order is delivered and you wish to return it, you will have 7 days from date of delivery to do so (please see our Order Acceptance Policy for further details on our returns policy).

We will only accept a cancellation of an order from the original purchaser of the order. If we accept cancellation of your order after delivery due to damage, we will aim to replace the hamper and, if this is not acceptable, refund the cost of the product and the delivery charge paid. The customer is responsible for all costs incurred in connection with returning products to Harvey Nichols unless the reason for the return is that the product is faulty. If goods are unwanted we will refund the cost of the goods only on receipt of the full hamper.

    What happens if my goods are lost or damaged in transit?

    Can I get a VAT Receipt?


    If you would like a VAT receipt please select this option when completing the checkout process. A VAT receipt will be sent out to you in due course.

    Please note that we do NOT deliver to destinations within the EU which are designated part of the European Community (EC) and are zero-rated for VAT. This includes anywhere in the Channels Islands. If you place an order to one of these destinations and it appears to be accepted it will be cancelled at the point of shipment. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

    Can I send a gift message to my family/friend/colleague?


    When you enter your order details for your family/friend/colleague you will be able to enter a gift message for each person comprising up to 280 characters of message. A gift card will then be attached to their delivery showing the exact message you have entered. Please be careful with your spelling as we cannot correct this for you. It is also possible to request a blank gift card to be enclosed with your order so that you can write your own personal message. This option is available when completing each recipient's details. If you do not type in a gift message or request a blank card, we will not enclose any card or message with your order.

    If You ask us to include a message with any product ordered through the Website, we will do our best to ensure that we accurately record your message and send it with the product. However we cannot accept any liability for any errors with the message or any failure to enclose the message with the product. You undertake that any message you require us to send will not be in any way racist, blasphemous, defamatory or otherwise offensive. We reserve the right to remove said messages from our deliveries.

    If you wish to include your own personal gift tag this can be arranged by initially contacting our Shopping team on + 44 20 8957 5030, although you will have to send or bring your gift tag to us for inclusion with the delivery we will send.

    Can I pay by cheque?


    Yes, cheques can be used as payment with orders made over the phone and sent through the post. All cheques should be payable to Harvey Nichols and Company Limited and have the cheque guarantee number written clearly on the reverse. Cheques must clear for payment by transax in full prior to any despatch of goods. Cheques should be sent with your order to:
