Cocktail Master Classes

Learn how to mix and shake like a professional at one of the Second Floor's Cocktail Master Classes.

Head Barman Tim Barnes and our cocktail specialists will deliver an educational and fun session on the history and ingredients of the best drinks around. Learn the techniques and tricks in making these fabulous drinks.

Classes are £25 per person, or £40 per person which includes a two course meal in the Brasserie after the class.

Saturday Master Classes start at 11.30am.

WSET Wine Qualification

At Harvey Nichols, we are passionate about wine and want to share our knowledge with you. So why not expand your own wine expertise by booking a place on our Autumn WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) course?
 
The WSET course will allow you to work towards a recognised qualification in the luxurious surroundings of the Harvey Nichols Personal Shopping Suite. Featuring a range of wine chosen by our own wine experts, the course will enhance your knowledge of the variety of wines produced in the world today, in an entertaining yet informative manor.

The eight week course is recognised by the world leading WSET Institution and those with a WSET Intermediate Certificate will have a firm grasp on the basic principles of wine tasting, interpret the labels of the major alcoholic beverages of the world and give basic guidance on appropriate selection and service. Wine and food matching is also a topic in the course.

The Advanced Course commences on Monday 6 September, whilst the Intermediate Course starts on Tuesday 12 October 2010 7pm. Please note that knowledge to WSET Intermediate Certificate level is a requirement for those wishing to prepare for the WSET Advanced Certificate qualification.

The course cost for the Intermediate Course is £265, and £550 for the Advanced Certificate qualification, including all wines and examination fees.
