Our food collections
Daylesford Organics Collection
Harvey Nichols Birmingham has launched a new collection of natural pantry products from one of the most lusted-after organic companies in the country.
The new Daylesford Organics range is available from our Foodmarket and features classic favourites - such as tomato ketchup and home made strawberry jam, as well as a delicious red onion and apple chutney, and a honey and mustard dressing.
A boutique offering of kitchenware is also available, including beautiful storage jars and a selection of natural candles inspired by garden scents such as vine tomato, fig, and oak.
Launched in 2003, Daylesford Organics is the brainchild of the Bamford family, who turned their family land in Staffordshire and the Cotswolds into areas for sustainable organic farming.
Menu
A range of cups featuring the work of one of the world's most famous tattoo artists is being launched exclusively at Harvey Nichols Birmingham.
Menu's limited edition thermo mugs showcase the work of Danish tattooist Alexander Hasnaoui, who takes his inspiration from four old-school sailor tattoos. Giving them a modern twist, the white porcelain cups feature "Love and Luck" and "Hope and Faith".
An ideal gift, the cups are made with two layers of porcelain and feature an insulating hollow core to ensure drinks stay warm while the outside remains a comfortable temperature.
A set of two costs £24.95 and they will be available from our Foodmarket in May.
Eat Tweet
The first ever Twitter cookbook – filled with 1,000 recipes written in less than 140 characters – is now available at Harvey Nichols Birmingham. Eat Tweet has been written by talented home cook Maureen Evans (or @cookbook, as she is known on the social networking site) who posts daily recipes to her 45,000 followers.
With a talent for boiling down recipes to their essence, every step and ingredient is condensed to the maximum number of letters. Recipes from around the world include Kashgar noodles, pumpkin pie, garlic chicken and lentil soup. In addition, Eat Tweet also contains kitchen tips and techniques as well as a lexicon for translating Twitter-ese terms like “s+p” (salt and pepper) and “tst” (toasted).
The book is available in-store now, priced at £10.99.
Bobble
First there was the Bobble ... now Harvey Nichols Birmingham welcomes two new sizes to the clan! Following the run-away success of Karim Rashid’s now iconic water bottle, new one litre and 385ml sizes versions have been launched exclusively alongside the original 550ml.
Bobble was an overnight success when it unveiled earlier this year, thanks to its carbon filter which removes chlorine and contaminants from tap water. Available in six vivid colours, it was created by the renowned industrial designer as an ecological alternative to single-serve plastic bottles.
The new sizes suit the needs of the whole family, as the 385ml can fit easily into a small bag and is perfect for children, while the larger size can be stored in the refrigerator for use at home. The carbon filter is interchangeable between the three.
The original Bobble is priced at £9.95, the new 385ml size costs £8.95 and the one litre bottle is £12.95.
