Description

Cut from heavyweight 100% wool, the Alaïa Caban Coat gives you a structured yet soft frame. It's a relaxed cut that sits away from your body rather than tracing your figure. It falls to the thigh, measuring 76cm from shoulder to hem.
Product Highlights
- Shawl lapels for a soft, curved line around your neck
- Double-breasted button fastenings for a structured, overlapping front
- Detachable button-fastening back tab, so you can wear the back with or without it
- Pleated back tab turns internal construction into decoration, an Alaïa house technique
- Fully lined in 100% cupro for a smooth, silk-like feel against your body
- Dry clean only to preserve the heavyweight wool and cupro lining
Best For
- Autumn and winter city days when you want a structured outer layer
- Gallery openings, cultural events and formal dinners after dark
- Business settings that call for a commanding double-breasted overcoat
- Size up one step if you plan to wear chunky knitwear underneath
