This is an outstanding Manhattan cocktail made even bolder by using super-serious Single Malt whisky from the legendary Glenfiddich Distillery. Rich flavoursome and brimming with marmalade toffee apple and malty flavours this effortless upgrade is the perfect addition to any dinner party or cocktail evening. So forget all that measuring and mixing kerfuffle and simply chill and pour.
The Manhattan is a classic cocktail dating back to the 1880s and maybe even before that. Probably originally made with rye whiskey (as this was favoured in New York at the time) it’s now more commonly created using Bourbon. But there are many variations including the Rob Roy which uses Scotch instead of American whiskey although rarely one quite as fabulous as Glenfiddich. Composed of the world’s most awarded Single Malt Scotch vermouth and bitters Batch & Bottle’s Glenfiddich Scotch Manhattan is one of those rare cocktails that’s equally as wonderful as an aperitif or a digestif.
For their first 12 months Batch & Bottle will be donating £1 from every bottle sold to the Drinks Trust and The Ben (split equally between) to support the hospitality industry that has been so badly hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.
