2019 was a great year for Hawke’s Bay Syrah making this red from Bilancia a must-try. The grapes came from a single vineyard on Roy’s Hill and were pressed into French oak barrels and allowed to ferment with indigenous yeasts. It’s a great wine to have in the rack as the nights start drawing in and getting cooler or to sip while you wait for the Bilancia La Collina Syrah 2019 to come of age in your cellar.

Bilancia is a boutique producer in Hawke’s Bay established by Lorraine Leheny and Warren Gibson in 1997.
