Boxer Gin is named after Tom King the very first Heavyweight Champion of the World. Apparently he knocked back a shot of gin before leaping into the ring for one of his bare-knuckle bouts. Crafted in a London Dry style using a 115-year-old copper pot still and wild Himalayan juniper harvested from the slopes of Mount Everest this is a towering gin that really packs a punch.
A left jab of citrussy bergamot Seville orange and lemon is followed by a right hook of cinnamon cassia nutmeg and coriander before being floored by an uppercut of angelica orris root and liquorice. It’s a knockout especially in a Martini. The gloves are off and we're ready to ring the bell for Round Two.
