Gin Pig 50ml
Oink! If you thought you knew all there was to know about gin, this little porker might surprise you.
Although the Victorian Era was filled with gin palaces, it wasn’t just out-on-the-town that our ancestors enjoyed their gin. At home, wealthy households liked to showcase their gin collection in decanters called gin pigs. The National Trust Scotland property Brodie Castle in Moray has a pair that inspired this creation from Angels’ Share Glass. So, take a step back in time with our Gin Pig, embellished with a curly tail, pink ears and bright blue eyes. Filled with 50ml of Scottish gin, the pig is finished with a cork nose. And once you’ve finished the spirit within, the Gin Pig can be refilled as many times as you desire.
Named after the whisky that evaporates during maturation in oak casks, Angels’ Share creates some of the spirits world’s most beautiful bespoke glassware. From their glass blowing studio in Bridge of Allan, Tom Young MBE and his daughter Karen create vessels befitting the most revered distilleries.
