Atelier Des Ors’ Larmes du Desert, meaning desert tears, gets its namesake from Frankincense which originates in Eastern Africa and the Arabian Peninsula as resin from trees, as it thickens it becomes hard and has a “tear” shape. This fragrance reflects the tradition of perfumery in the Middle East with the use of amber and incense and is an homage to the birthplace of perfumery. Blending the sensuality of noble amber and precious woods with the mysterious spiciness of incense, creates an enchanting perfume that is both vibrant and warm.
