Founded in the historic weaving town of Paisley in 1866, Scottish textiles specialist Begg & Co has over 150 years’ expertise in pioneering weaving techniques. For over a century, it has been headquartered in Ayr on Scotland’s South-West coast, purveying fine fabrics to couture houses and Queen Elizabeth II. Today, the label combines cutting-edge equipment with traditional worsting processes, such as the specially cultivated Tuscan teasel plant heads - which feature as its logo silhouette - that are used to brush and finish its ethically sourced natural fibres in the final stages of production.
