Biscardo Rosapasso Originale is our favourite rosé find of the year so far. And we’ll be sipping this exceptional value for money all summer long and beyond, especially in the ever-impressive and party-ready magnum format.

Our latest crush was created using pure Pinot Noir grown in the hills close to Barbarano in Veneto. This region is famous for its thermal wellness springs, and although we know that wine is certainly not a superfood, this rosé does seem to have a purity and almost cleansing character. Intense wild strawberry, cherry sorbet, rose petals, pink grapefruit, freshness and an almost zen-like harmony; it’s one of those wines that completely grips you in the present in the moment. Consider serving this vegan-friendly rosé alongside summer lunches with friends and family, citrussy risottos or simple cherry tomato pasta dishes.

Now headed up by brothers Maurizio and Martino, the Biscardo Family have been crafting wines in the medieval and stunningly picturesque village of Soave for over 150 years. The common thread that links all their wines is a dangerous drinkability, pure fruit aromatics and the immense quality to price ratio.
