As each bottle of 6 O’Clock Damson Gin notes, this is a strikingly smooth spirit. It’s made in Gloucestershire by fruit farmers turned liqueur specialists, Bramley & Gage, using a 200-litre copper pot still called Kathleen. This expensive piece of kit contains a unique double sphere condenser, which creates more copper contact, resulting in a sleek and silky finish.

Luscious damsons are steeped in London Dry Gin with a little sugar for at least six months. The slow maturation, high damson to gin ratio and 40% ABV are what really make this stand out from the crowd. You won’t find an intense hit of damsons quite like it. We love it alongside a cheeseboard, filled into a hip flask for winter walks, or topped with ginger ale or tonic water. Now is it six o’clock yet?
