They say that even a broken clock is right twice a day. While this is indisputably true Broken Clock Vodka is the right choice at almost any time of the day or night. Breakfast Martini anyone?

Cheshire’s Broken Clock Vodka is the brainchild of a descendant of Leon Kuhajewski – the man who invented the world’s first astronomical watch in 1816 and who made timepieces for Russian Emperors. This small-batch spirit starts off quite traditionally using wheat and a copper pot still. But like their horologist inspiration the makers are innovative and like to take their time. So in honour of spending a few moments to enjoy the English countryside Broken Clock is then infused with organic windfall apples from Shandy Hall in Coxwold Yorkshire and a range of botanicals from old Georgian gardens. It took three years to develop but the result is outstandingly smooth. Decidedly summery notes of freshly mown lawns wildflower meadows herb patches and sunshine mingle with a more autumnal richness reminiscent of apple pie and spiced crumble.

Awarded a silver medal by the International Wine & Spirit Competition this “very elegant” spirit has a botanical quality that will appeal to craft gin drinkers. And as the label suggests this is a “lingering vodka” the flavour of which will remain with you long after you’ve sipped a Martini or any vodka-based cocktail made with it.
