Calasparra Paella Rice DOP 500g

This Paella Rice was cultivated on the river terraces built by the Moors in the town of Calasparra, Murcia. The rice grown here is so renowned for its quality, it’s one of only three Spanish rices granted Denominación de Origen status, putting it right up there with the country’s fine wines. Particularly well suited to making paella, Calasparra’s rice is exceptionally absorbent – capable of soaking up 2.5 times its weight in liquid – so use your very best stock.
