Chateau Giscours 2006

Although Giscours’ history can be traced back to the 14th century, it was in 1552 that the first vines were planted on the estate. Located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, Giscours is blessed with an exceptional terroir. The gravel hilltops soils and the gentle climate are determinant factors in the production of the estate’s balanced and elegant wines.

A masculine and concentrated wine that bursts with notes of plums, prune, cassis, tea and tobacco, it's perfect to accompany beef Wellington, mushroom risotto or grilled rib-eye.
