Daffy's Martini with Orange Blossom 500ml

£25.00

Put that dodgy ‘Quarantini’ down, because the ‘World’s Best Martini’ can now be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home…

Daffy’s Orange Blossom Martini was crowned the ‘World’s Best Martini’ at London’s annual ‘World’s Best Martini’ competition in 2017. Now, that award-winning cocktail is available in a handy premixed and ‘ready to serve’ format.

Mixed at a ratio of four parts gin to one of vermouth, it has a gorgeous orange note, a super-smooth mouthfeel, a touch of vanilla sweetness, a twist of herbal freshness in the tail and the perfect Martini ABV of 29%. Chill Daffy’s Martini in the freezer for 30 minutes, pour 65ml into a glass, pinch a strip of orange peel over the glass to release the oils and drop it in. Et voilà, the greatest Martini you will probably ever taste without leaving your house.

Daffy is the Goddess of Gin. First written about in the 1700s, her essence has been distilled down into Daffy’s small batch gins. The bottle includes the figurehead illustration of ‘Daffy’ as painted in 2014 by Robert McGinnis, the artist behind the Breakfast at Tiffany’s, James Bond and Barbarella posters. The gin itself is crafted at the Strathmashie Distillery in the Cairngorms National Park by a former winemaker and whisky distiller called Chris Molyneaux. He steeps classic botanicals and more exotic ingredients in French wheat grain spirit before distilling them in an ancient copper pot whisky still. Bottled with the purest Scottish spring water at a perfectly balanced strength, the results are quite simply the elixir of the gods – as demonstrated by more than fifty global awards in their trophy cabinet, including World’s Best Gin at the IWSC.
