The 1994 is one of the finest Dow’s Vintage Ports of the second half of the 20th Century. Because it was loved so much by wine critics experts writers and drinkers all around the globe the Symington family has decided to issue a limited re-release in Autumn 2021 complete with a stylish wooden gift box and 25 years of bottle age.

The majority of the grapes come from the iconic Quinta do Bomfim in Cima Corgo with the remainder from the no-less-impressive Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira in Douro Superior. Belying its 27 years of age Dow’s Vintage Port 1994 is remarkably fresh suggesting a long life ahead of it. Muscular notes of blackcurrant liquorice raisin damson violet and fruitcake are seasoned with that classic Dow’s peppery character. A fine choice for festive fare and cheeseboards or as a gift for marking a special 1994 anniversary.
