Everything that comes out of the doors at Foursquare is sensational. And anyone who has had the pleasure of tasting Veritas will know how incredible Richard Seale’s white rum can be. So we’re excited to be able to offer the overproof version of Doorly’s 3 Year Old White Rum.
Handcrafted by Master Distiller and all-round hero Richard Seale this rum is aged for three years and then gently filtered to remove the colour but leave all the flavour and character intact. The result is riotously tropical (pineapple banana mango coconut) with notes of freshly cut grass hay and herb patches. The higher ABV adds the prickle of warming pepper and green chilli balancing the faint sweetness of vanilla fudge perfectly. A must-have for cocktails particularly for a Daiquiri Mai Tai or Mojito.
Founded in 1908 Martin Doorly’s distillery evolved into Doorly’s Macaw and then became the first rum to be exported from Barbados. Made at the highly respected Foursquare Distillery described quite rightly by The Telegraph newspaper as “the world’s best rum distillery” as a nod to its middle incarnation each bottle of Doorly’s features a rare macaw. The 3 Year Old is emblazoned with blue-and-yellow macaw which is as rare as bright and as beautiful as this great rum.
