“Wine has always fascinated me - a complex marriage of tradition, art, science, land, and people, all captured together in a glass.” – Gordon Ramsay

The perfect present for any wine-loving foodie: three Gordon Ramsay bottle – red, white and rosé – packaged in a sleek and easy-to-wrap box.

Having run a three Michelin star restaurant for more than two decades, Gordon Ramsay has tasted his fair share of the finest wines on the planet. Inspired by them and the happy times he spent touring Italy with his wife Tana, the celebrity chef decided to release his own wine range. Obviously, it needed to be crafted to the same high standards he expects in his restaurants, so he teamed up with one of the world’s most famous winemakers, Alberto Antonini. The Tuscan-born oenologist has shaped fine wine immeasurably through his work with Antinori, Frescobaldi, Poggiotondo, Concha y Toro, Seghesio, Altos Los Hormigas, Chakana, Bodega Garzon and countless others. Created by two experts in their field who are renowned for their attention to detail and the quality of their palates, the currently three-strong range is vegan friendly and explores some of Italy’s most loved regions.

Open the bespoke gift box to discover the following:

  • Elegante Rosato 2020, 750ml – An innovative rosé that is our Wine Buyer’s favourite in the collection. Crafted using Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Merlot grapes from Tuscany and Abruzzo, this petal-pink rosé presents notes of redcurrants, juicy cherries, crunchy peach, dried strawberries, cherry blossom, wild herbs, delicate bubble gum and a tingle of peppery spice. Fresh and sun kissed, Elegante Rosato would make a cracking aperitif, or it could be paired with a burrata and tomato salad, carbonara, grilled red mullet or a palm heart ceviche.
  • Vibrante Bianco 2020, 750ml – And unoaked white wine crafted using Chardonnay, Vermentino, Trebbiano and Pecorino grapes from Tuscany and Abruzzo. It presents delectably gastronomic notes of lemon verbena, citrus peel, crunchy peach, dried wildflowers, orchard blossom, green apple and blanched almond. Crisp and clean, Vibrante Bianco would make a cracking aperitif, or it could be paired with green salads, panzanella, simple grilled fish dishes, fresh oysters, risotto or pasta primavera.
  • Intenso Rosso 2020, 750ml – A big, juicy and hearty red that’s screaming out for food. Crafted using Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Merlot grapes from Tuscany and Abruzzo, this red is aged in a mix of oak, stainless steel and concrete. This adds a little spice but retains that electric buzz of food-friendly energy. Expect an abundance of succulent red and black fruit, plum jam, red liquorice, vanilla, buttery shortbread, woodsmoke and a seasoning of salt and black pepper. Vibrant and warming, this would work beautifully with a big bowl of tomato-based pasta, pizza, ciambotta (a hearty summer vegetable stew from southern Italy), or maybe a fennel, chilli and sausage ragù.

These three wines are so versatile that we guarantee whatever food you choose, there will be no kitchen nightmares. However, it tastes so good, we can’t promise you won’t utter an expletive or two. But we’re sure Gordon wouldn’t mind that.
