‘Saucy’ in the North American sense – i.e. having or expressing a bold, lively or spirited feistiness, like “Oh my days! Did you see the saucy angle that beret was tipped at?” – our vegan-friendly Hot Chunky Garlic Pickle is full-throttle flavour with big chunks of garlic. Perfect for barbeques, curries, noodles, cheeseboards, pork pies and smushing into soft white rolls, baguettes and dirty burgers.

The Harvey Nichols Saucy range is free from gluten, nuts, additives and preservatives, and was created exclusively for us by Hawkshead Relish – winners of more than 60 Great Taste Awards. This family business started life as a café run by a wife and husband team in the Lake District. The homemade chutneys, relishes and preserves that accompanied their dishes proved so popular that the café has now been converted into a shop, and the kitchen had to move to bigger premises in a 16th Century barn on the edge of the idyllic Esthwaite Water.

To make sure this stays as saucy as possible, keep in the fridge after opening and use within a month.
