Eagles circle gracefully in the skies above the venerable estate of Quinta de la Rosa where this wine is made. The terraced vineyards some 600 metres above the Douro Valley are planted with the indigenous grape varieties Codega do Larinho Rabigato and Viosinho. These are handpicked to make our Douro White which is vinified in small stainless steel vats to preserve the vibrant aromatic character of the grapes and retain all that zingy freshness. Kissed with floral notes crunchy white peach crisp citrus and just a pinch of spice it’s a wine that’s ideal for summer days but offers a splash of sunshine whatever the weather or time of year.
