With access to a suite of beautiful old vineyards spread across the Adelaide Hills Eden Valley Langhorne Creek McLaren Vale Barossa Valley and Fleurieu Peninsula Dandelion Vineyards is one Australia’s most exciting producers. Although completely bone dry the Harvey Nichols Eden Valley Riesling has a weeknight friendly ABV of just 11%. Expect dancing notes of lemon sorbet crunchy green apple candied citrus peel jasmine lily floral honey dried herbs and chalky talcum powder finishing with a delicious salty minerality. Delicate and crisp its racy acidity cuts through the fattiness of deep-fried food wonderfully and refreshes the palate between mouthfuls of spicy dishes and that salinity screams out for seafood sushi or salads laced with capers.
