The Harvey Nichols Classic Fine Bone China Cup & Saucer features an elegant ‘HN’ motif rendered in a tessellating black, white and gold diamond lozenge pattern. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate or whatever is sipped from it, this cup is guaranteed to add a little catwalk chic to proceedings.

But before filling it, take a glimpse inside, because nestled within the cup is a little Flower Cake. Brimming with plump vine fruits and glacé cherries, infused with brandy, topped with marzipan and decorated with an icing flower, this richly indulgent mini fruit cake was handmade exclusively for us in the heart of the Cotswolds by Meg Rivers, bakers of happiness. Well, if you’re going to have afternoon tea, you might as well do it in style.

The cup, saucer and cake have been slipped into a compact hat box, creating a glorious gourmet gift. 

Each voguishly designed piece in the Harvey Nichols Fine Bone China range is handcrafted in Stoke-on-Trent, the home of English pottery. From clay to cup, each skilful step is carried out by the hands of experts at The Caverswall English China Company, a Royal Warrant holder by appointment to HRH The Prince of Wales.

Classic Fine Bone China Cup & Saucer: not microwave safe and we recommend washing by hand in warm soapy water to keep that gilding sparkly.

Please note: no actual bone is used in our fine bone china. Tri-calcium orthophosphate is used instead of bone. This is a natural crystalline mineral (a calcium), which gives the clay its elegant translucent quality. It is used at minimum 35% by weight in the clay to qualify as fine bone china, as defined by the British Standard.
