The New Vintage Trio includes a classic red and a pair of stylish whites that have just arrived instore. These fresh fine wines are a dinner party waiting to happen or the perfect present for the oenophile in your life.

The selection kicks off with the elegant Harvey Nichols Sancerre 2019. This smoky, flinty and deeply refreshing white was created exclusively for us by a collaboration between the highly respected Domaine Gérard Fiou and Henri Bourgeois. According to Decanter Magazine: “Incredibly 2019 is the sixth successive good to very good quality vintage in the Loire.” So, it might be worth stocking up, just in case that enviable winning streak comes to an end.

Next up is the rich Harvey Nichols Bordeaux Supérieur 2018, a pure Merlot chosen for us by none other than Jonathan Maltus – the cult Saint-Émilion garagiste behind Château Teyssier and Le Dôme. Made in the powerful 2018 vintage, which world-renowned wine expert Jancis Robinson MW has predicted “may be one of the region’s longer-lived vintages.” Only introduced to the range in 2020, it’s already proving immensely popular and looks set to become one of our all-time bestsellers.

And maybe the pick of the bunch is the Harvey Nichols Pecorino 2019, made using a heritage grape variety (not a cheese) by the organic Cìu Cìu estate. Crisp and lemony with notes of jasmine, orange blossom, peach, apricot and spice, this food-friendly white is something a little different.
